Introduction

The Valley Cornwall is a five-star self catering holiday village nestled in the heart of Cornwall, providing the perfect base to explore the natural beauty that the county has to offer. The Valley specialise in providing an exceptional guest experience, therefore this needed to be at the forefront of the work we carried out for them.

When The Valley first started working with us, they were reliant on word of mouth recommendations and repeat bookings, without having much presence within Google search. We looked to establish The Valley as an expert within a particular niche, with them offering dog-friendly accommodation, this seemed a natural fit.

We began to create content focussing on different aspects of taking a dog-friendly holiday in Cornwall, soon increasing impressions and clicks organically. This also informed our paid advertising campaigns, positioning The Valley as a premier provider in Cornwall. Our campaign has since expanded into different areas, however our dog-friendly content continues to perform exceptionally within Google.

It’s Not Goodbye, It’s See You Soon!

With the coronavirus pandemic radically changing the way people choose to holiday, at first completely closing the sector and then reopening in 2021, our main ambition was to ensure The Valley remained at the forefront of people’s minds for when it came to booking a UK holiday.

Brand awareness through search and paid advertising helped us to retain The Valley’s customer base, encouraging returning customers to book once again while bringing in new customers too.
